The cabinet secretaries are not only set to be reshuffled but reduced according to recent informations that standard newspaper published today. The move comes at the time President Ruto is struggling to make Kenya a great country and in a bid to reduce the budget cuts. The decision is set to be made over the weekend by the head of state.

Pauline Njoroge a former blogger who worked for President Ruto and currently a close ally of Rigathi Gachagua has castigated President Ruto's move to reduce the CSs only. According to the blogger, the reduction of CSs without appointment of quality cabinet secretaries who will not steal money from the public is null and void.

Kenyans have supported the sentiments of Njoroge and here are some of the comments and opinions from Netizens;

"Ministries need to be reduced and the few ministries be given competent person's to manage.. not the likes of juma, Bor, machogu etc" Mbogote Mbogote said.

"Ministries to be only 14, and the CS in charge should be corruption free." Alex Mogote said

"How do we measure the competence of CS's. You qualify for the same position because you have papers madam." Bethuel said

"He should have reduced salaries for all CS, board members of parastatals and CEOs and chairpersons and fight corruption." Daniel Hayongo said.

"Parliament, led by the Speaker, has been the biggest let down, they should do thorough vetting and not just rubber-stamping executive decisions." Solomon Surtan said.

"It's a good move to reduce the cabinet but still we need a further reduction.15 cs is way to high . Kenya being just a tiny country needs like 7 cs technocrats and we merge unnecessary and duplicate ministries like interior and defence into one e.g that security among others,we have so many duplicated roles,this must end." Mike Ngigi said.

"The shortcut to fighting corruption is through a slightly amendment of procurement laws via parliament." Japheth Nzuya said

"It's just amongst the grievance especially when comes to expenditures. But never the solution to kenyans problems." Artillery said.

"Thank you. People are loud on who must go without keeping in mind that whoever remains, still remains the same..." Akinyi Atinga said.
