According to Punch, Senate President Godswill Akpabio recently asserted that Nigeria will be dramatically transformed by the time President Bola Tinubu completes his seven years in office. During the inauguration of the Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja on Tuesday, Akpabio reassured Nigerians, urging them to remain hopeful and supportive of Tinubu's administration. He emphasized that the current challenges will eventually be resolved, leading to significant improvements in the country.

Akpabio highlighted Tinubu's successful track record as the former Governor of Lagos State, which he described as one of the largest and most prosperous economies in Africa. He expressed confidence that Tinubu's leadership would bring similar progress and development to the entire nation. "He did it in Lagos, and today, Lagos is one of the best; one of the largest economies in Africa when we are talking about cities," Akpabio stated.

The Senate President also praised Tinubu for appointing Nyesom Wike, the former Governor of Rivers State, as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Akpabio described Wike as a "square peg in a square hole," lauding Tinubu's ability to identify and appoint capable individuals who can deliver tangible results. He acknowledged Wike's contributions to the success of the new project, which aims to improve transportation and address issues like traffic congestion and insecurity in Abuja.

Akpabio's comments reflect his optimism about the potential impact of Tinubu's administration on Nigeria's future. He called on Nigerians to continue supporting and praying for the government, believing that these efforts will eventually lead to a brighter and more prosperous nation. "Let us continue to pray for him and be hopeful that the challenges you see today, tomorrow, you will see them no more," Akpabio concluded, reiterating his faith in Tinubu's vision and leadership.
