Inko Tariah, a former Special Assistant to ex-Governor Nyesom Wike, has responded to Governor Sim Fubara's directive for the caretaker chairmen of the 23 LGAs in Rivers to operate from any location rather than moving into the council secretariats.

In a video shared by Arise TV, Tariah mentioned that Governor Fubara was aware of the schemes of his adversaries. He noted that if Fubara had insisted on the caretaker chairmen taking control of the secretariats immediately, it could have incited violence, with Fubara being held responsible.

It should be remembered that the Rivers State Police Command took control of all 23 Local Government Council secretariats to prevent further violence and maintain order during a crisis involving the tenure of outgoing local government chairpersons.

During an interview on Arise Television, Inko Tariah remarked: "If Fubara had said "I am Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the state, move into that place" there would have been bloodbath in that place; and who would have taken the blame? The governor"
