According to the report from the Sun, a lawyer and human rights activists, Dr Christian Chidubem Nwadigo expresses doubt about the direction and effectiveness of President Tinubu's administration, highlighting the poor state of the economy, particularly the soaring dollar-to-naira exchange rate and skyrocketing food prices, as evidence of its failures.

He then asserts that the current government, often referred to as the "Emi lokan" government, is ineffective and incapable of resolving the country's mounting issues.

He further criticizes President Tinubu's nepotism, alleging that the president brings his sons with him on all his trips and prioritizes furnishing his wife's office, while turning a blind eye to the widespread hunger and poverty facing Nigerians.

He said, "Now that Tinubu is on the seat, your guess is as good as mine. Look at the dollar to naira exchange rate, hunger continues to be a monster that everybody has to contend with; a bag of rice that was N6,500 during Jonathan’s administration is now N80,000. This government has failed woefully, the “Emi lokan “ government is not working. It’s in this government we’re seeing bulkanisation of office. Anywhere he travels, he goes with his two sons, he furnished his wife’s office despite the hunger ravaging Nigerians."
