As revealed by Vanguard, the Igbo-Biafra Patriots (IBN) have voiced their full help for the production of an extra state in the Southeast locale of Nigeria. As per the gathering's convener, Mazi Uche Mefor, this is a urgent move toward tending to verifiable treacheries and cultivating solidarity among the Igbo public.
"Our definitive objective is to see an independent, monolingual, and monoethnic Igbo country that can contend well with different areas in Nigeria," Mefor expressed. The gathering has lauded people and associations like Noteworthy Ugochinyere and Congressperson Ned Nwoko, who are supporting for the production of Orlu and Anioma states, individually.
While the two proposition have merit, IBN communicated an inclination for Anioma State. "Anioma is an Igbo-talking region, and we encourage the defenders of both Orlu and Anioma states to cooperate decisively to guarantee a powerful political can hope for the Igbo public and the Southeast locale," Mefor said.
Besides, IBN supported for the restoration and reintegration of all removed and moved Igbo people group, as of now manipulated into the South and North Focal districts, back to Igboland, their familial country.
