Khalif Kairo, a young entrepreneur who was at the forefront of organizing the Gen Z protests, has announced that he will no longer be involved. In a post on his X page, Kairo stated that the movement is doomed to fail since it lacks objectives, leadership structure, and agenda.
He stated that he would not participate in such activities with no agenda and was calling it quits. Kairo also stated that he quit not because he is frightened of threats, but because he does not want to associate with a ferocious mob that poses a threat to the very country they claim to be fighting for.
"Any movement without clear aims, leadership, organization, or an agenda is doomed to fail. I retreated not because of threats, but because I cannot associate with a frantic mob that poses a threat to the very country it claims to be protesting for." Kairo made an announcement to his followers on X.
His resignation comes after an uptick in cases of criminal activity during the protests. The Gen Z movement has likewise declined to choose leaders, claiming that having one would sabotage its plans. His resignation has sparked widespread criticism among Generation Zs, with some claiming he is leaving because he was not picked as one of the movement's leaders.
