Junior Pope: Akwa Ibom Governor Directs The Renovation Of The Family House Of Late Makeup Artist

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, paid a visit to the family of the late Nollywood makeup artist, Abigail Frederick, who tragically lost her life in a recent boat mishap. Abigail Frederick was among the victims of the boat accident, which also claimed the life of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope.

As reported by Punch, Governor Eno personally visited Abigail Frederick's family home in Ikot Udoma, located in Eket Local Government Area of the state, on Saturday afternoon. He offered condolences to the grieving family, expressing solidarity and assuring them of his heartfelt sympathy.

In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno remarked that the 24-year-old makeup artist had recently completed her youth service and had embarked on pursuing her passion. He lamented the tragic end to her promising life.

The Governor pledged to renovate the family house of the late makeup artist to modern standards and announced an automatic employment in the state civil service for her surviving elder sister. Additionally, he directed the Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Services, Umo Ekpo, to oversee the renovation process.

Furthermore, Governor Eno assured support for Abigail Frederick's two siblings, who are currently pursuing their undergraduate studies at the University of Uyo, and were being sponsored by their late sister.
