Zack Orji, a veteran Nollywood actor, has shared details about his health scare and subsequent surgery that saved his life in his first interview since the incident
In a video shared on YouTube by Channels TV, Orji revealed some of the dark moments he faced before the surgery after he slumped in his home. He recounted how he struggled to recognize people around him, even those who came to visit him in the hospital. He disclosed that he relied on his wife to inform him about the visitors he couldn't recall. He said after the surgery, his condition improved dramatically. He said after the surgery, he asked about the date and when he learned that it was New Year's Day, he began to wish everyone a happy new year.
In Zack Orji's words: "Before my surgery I could not recognize people, even those who came to see me in hospital. Even though they came and we were talking, I could not even remember them. It was my wife who told me that this and this person came. But immediately after the surgery, when they brought me out, the first question I asked was what day are we in today, my wife said New Year's Day and I started wishing everybody a happy New Year".
