Kai Havertz of Arsenal has now scored 12 goals so far in the 2023/24 English Premier League (EPL) season. Interestingly, a look at the records of German players within the period has shown that only 3 of them have registered more strikes in the European first tier leagues than the Germany international within the period as per Transfermarkt. Who are they?
Deniz Undav
The top German scorer so far this season is Deniz Undav. This centre forward (who is currently on loan from Brighton) has netted 18 times for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga after the first 31 match days of the current term. Interestingly, he got his first two strikes of the tournament off the bench. It is worthy of note that this 27-year-old striker has registered one hatin the competition within the period.
Undav is followed by Dominik Stolz, an attacking midfielder who plies his trade at Hesperange in Luxembourg. He has scored 14 times in the BGL Ligue so far this term. The reigning Luxembourgish champion opened this season with a goal on match day 1. He gas also been credited for a hat trick. This came in the 6-0 win over Mondercange last September.
The third German that has registered more league goals than Havertz so far this season is Maximilian Beier. This striker, who is presently 21 years old, has taken credits for 13 Bundesliga goals for Hoffenheim already this term. However, unlike the 2 players above, Beier is yet to get a hat trick to his name this term.

Meanwhile, Havertz has only been credited with one Brace for Arsenal in the English top flight. Interestingly, he registered it against Chelsea, his former club. It is worth pointing out that only one man, Bukayo Saka, has scored more goals for Arsenal in the EPL so far this season.
