Most Gen Z turned out for a demonstration on Tuesday this week after listening to the President's speech during his interview. According to Radio Maisha news on Tuesday at 7 pm, most Gen Z did not agree with what the President was saying. The President did not address their issues adequately, so they decided to take to the streets to raise their voices and be heard. Many of them did not initially want to participate in the demonstration but felt compelled to do so after hearing the President's speech. These were the main reasons for their demonstration.

1. The president was ignoring some of the important questions.

Mr. President answered most of the questions rudely, and he was avoiding answering other important questions. One of the questions that Mr. President answered rudely was about the 12-year-old boy who was shot with 8 bullets in his back. He was asked to express his feelings about that innocent boy, but he said if the boy is still alive, there is nothing to worry about. That answer made many Gen Z individuals come out to the streets for demonstrations seeking justice for the innocent boy.

2. Most Gen Z individuals wanted Mr. President to stop referring to them as criminals.

In the last speech, the president said that the people who destroyed the parliament were not the young people of Gen Z; they were criminals. This speech also made many Gen Z individuals come out for demonstrations to prove to Mr. President that they were demonstrating as it is their right in the constitution and they have freedom of speech. They wanted to tell Mr. President to stop calling them criminals.

3. They wanted Mr. President to speak the truth always.

Most of Gen Z want the president to stop promising them too many things, and instead, he should deliver what he promises first. They say that they don't have trust in Mr. President the way they did during the campaign period.
