Pastor David Ibiyeomie: "When This Ministry Started, For Almost Two Years I Was Fasting, Every Day'

In a recent video on YouTube, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries in Nigeria, recently emphasized the vital role of fasting and prayer in achieving spiritual advancement. In a recent sermon, Ibiyeomie shared his personal experiences, revealing the intensity of his commitment during the early years of his ministry.

Highlighting the significance of spiritual discipline, Ibiyeomie rejected the notion that success in ministry could be attributed to mere luck. His teachings reflect a broader belief in the power of fasting and prayer within many Christian communities, where such practices are seen as essential for spiritual growth and divine intervention.

According to him, "You don't gain supernatural speed without fasting and prayer. When this Ministry started, for almost two years I was fasting, every day! I got used to it that till now, it's now I started eating breakfast. I don't eat breakfast before, not because I don't want to; but my body was adjusted to not eating breakfast. I fasted every month and I did all night for almost two years. There was no night… So don't think people gain speed with eating. We are not lucky oo, luck is not of God. In the Kingdom, there is no luck, we are fortunate we are not lucky. Luck is a game of chance."
