In a straightforward interview on News Central TV, Sam Yohana, the former Organizing Secretary of the All Progressive Congress in Kaduna State, attributed Senator Ireti Kingibe's public disagreement with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to a political conflict involving former Senator Philip Aduda.

Yohana suggested that Wike's close relationship with Aduda indicated potential support for Aduda's bid for the senate in 2027, which could impact Kingibe's political career.
He explained that Kingibe's frustration with this perceived alliance led her to express her concerns, prompting a response from Wike.
Yohana emphasized that Aduda's constant presence around Minister Wike sends a message that Wike will support Aduda's senate bid in 2027. He noted that Aduda is eager to return to the senate, and this perception likely caused Kingibe to voice her displeasure. Yohana added that Wike did not appreciate Kingibe's approach, which led to his retaliatory response.

With Aduda always hanging around the Minister (Nyesom Wike), it is sending a message that 2027, the honourable minister of FCT will do the bidding for Philip Aduda. And Aduda as we all know is eager to come back to the senate. So, she (Ireti Kingibe) couldn't control or hold herself back, she had to come out and voice her displeasure. I think the minister (Wike) didn't like the way she went about it, he now throws it back at her."
