Adams Oshiomhole, a prominent figure in Nigeria's political landscape and leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emphasized the legal boundaries concerning the ongoing crisis within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State. Following a Federal High Court ruling that nullified the PDP's primary elections due to the exclusion of 378 delegates, Oshiomhole stressed that such disputes are strictly intra-party matters for the PDP to resolve internally.

He pointed out that it would be against the law for the APC or any external entity to interfere in the PDP's internal conflicts, including their primary election processes. Speaking to journalists in Abuja, Oshiomhole underscored the importance of political parties adhering to electoral laws and regulations, particularly in conducting primaries.

He highlighted the division within the PDP in Edo State both before and after their primaries, citing grievances from the PDP legacy group about being marginalized within their own party. According to DAILY POST reports, Oshiomhole said, "The PDP legacy group complained that the man they gave their master bedroom has completely chased them out of the building and now they’re under the rain and as we speak they are still trying to settle.”
