BRE vs MUN: How Manchester United Could Line-Up For The Premier League Game On Saturday

opera.com 2024/4/28

In a clash set to take place at the Gtech Community Stadium, an underperforming Brentford side will host top-four hopefuls Manchester United in Saturday night's Premier League fixture.

Brentford's morale took a hit before the international break with a disappointing 2-1 defeat to fellow relegation rivals Burnley. On the other hand, Manchester United secured a thrilling victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final.

However, Manchester United will be without their FA Cup hero Diallo, who received a one-match ban for his overzealous celebration, resulting in a second yellow card. Additionally, the Red Devils could be missing several key players due to injury concerns, including regular starters Harry Maguire, Casemiro, and Lisandro Martinez. Altay Bayindir and Jonny Evans are also doubtful for the upcoming fixture.

Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial, and Tyrell Malacia remain sidelined with injuries, further limiting Manchester United's options. The potential absence of Casemiro might see McTominay partnering with Kobbie Mainoo in midfield, especially after Mainoo's impressive debut for the senior England team earlier this month.

Check out how Manchester United could line up for Saturday's game against Brentford below:

Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Varane, Dalot; Mainoo, McTominay; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.
