Liverpool's hopes for the Premier League championship have dimmed significantly after only securing a 2-2 tie with West Ham, marking just one victory in their past five league outings. This comes shortly after a disappointing 2-0 loss to Everton, putting them further behind leaders Arsenal and Manchester City in the title race.

Meanwhile, Manchester United dropped points at Old Trafford due to a late penalty by Zeki Amdouni, resulting in a 1-1 draw against Burnley. United initially took the lead with a goal from Antony 11 minutes from time, but a series of mistakes, including a penalty conceded by Andre Onana after a poor back-pass from Casemiro, cost them the win.

Chelsea also faced challenges but managed a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa, overturning a two-goal deficit. Unlike their recent poor performance against Arsenal, Chelsea rallied impressively with goals from Noni Madueke and Conor Gallagher, though Axel Disasi's late goal was disallowed after a video review.

At Goodison Park, Everton secured their Premier League survival for another season with a narrow 1-0 win over Brentford, thanks to a goal from Idrissa Gueye. This marked Everton’s first win with their only shot on target since a previous draw against Manchester City in December 2022.

Finally, Sheffield United's relegation was confirmed following a 5-1 thrashing by Newcastle, marking their 25th loss of the season. This defeat underscored their challenging season back in the top flight, having secured only three victories and suffering the highest number of goals conceded in a 38-game Premier League season.
