President Bola Tinubu has sent his condolences to Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, former Governor of Borno, on the death of his mother, Hajiya Aisha.
Hajiya Aisha died on Sunday in Abuja at the age of 93, following a long illness. She will be buried today, Monday, at the late Galadima Modu Sheriff's family residence on Damboa Road in Maiduguri, Borno State's capital.
In a statement sent by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu conveyed his condolences to the whole Modu Sheriff family. He exhorted them to take comfort in the fact that Hajiya Aisha lived an outstanding life filled with strong qualities and died at the honored age of 93, which shows that he faithful served Allah to his death and leave a good legacy for his children, which then will live on.
"The President prays that Allah grants the departed Aljannat Firdausi and provides comfort to her family," he said.
