Spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council, Ogbonna Nwuke, has dismissed allegations against PDP by some other political parties that claim that PDP is responsible for the recent attacks on political parties across the country.
Ogbonna Nwuke noted that people are stage-managing attacks on themselves so that they can blame PDP for the attacks. Ogbonna Nwuke went on to say that PDP is focused on issue-based campaign and as such, the party does not intend to engage in thuggery.
Remember that not long ago, the goovernorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Rivers State, Magnus Abe, accused the Rivers State government of being the cause of politically motivated violence in the state. Some other political parties in other states has also accused PDP of thuggery.
However, Ogbonna Nwuke maintained that the reason why PDP is campaigning ahead of the election is because the party believes in an open conversation with the people and not thuggery.
