Manchester United have decided to retain Erik ten Hag as their manager, despite a less-than-stellar season, according to UnitedinFocus.

The club, now under the ownership of Ineos, has chosen to continue with Ten Hag, signaling a vote of confidence from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his team.

Although there was speculation about potential changes in leadership, it appears Ten Hag’s position is secure.

However, the coaching team around Ten Hag is undergoing significant changes.

Benni McCarthy is expected to depart, and the future of Mitchell van der Gaag remains uncertain. In response, United are bringing in new faces to support Ten Hag, with some familiar names returning to Old Trafford.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, a former United striker, is set to rejoin the club as part of the coaching staff.

Additionally, Rene Hake, who has been leading Go Ahead Eagles, will be leaving his position to assist Ten Hag. These additions will bring a fresh perspective and experience to the team.

Furthermore, goalkeeping coach Jelle ten Rouwelaar is expected to join the coaching ranks, replacing Richard Hartis.

Ten Rouwelaar, who has a history with Ajax and various Dutch clubs, will need to negotiate his exit from his current commitments.

Ten Rouwelaar's career as a player saw him making significant impacts at clubs like Emmen, PSV Eindhoven, and NAC Breda, where he eventually transitioned into coaching.

He has previously worked with Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht and Burnley, showing a strong track record in developing goalkeeping talent.
