If you are being praised as Mr Project, is that enough reason to turn yourself to God?–Dele Momodu

Amid the rivalry between Ireti Kingibe and Nyesom Wike, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dele Momodu denounced the disrespectful behavior of Nyesom Wike who publicly insulted Ireti Kingibe on national television, suggesting she should harm herself.

He criticized the National Assembly for not condemning Wike, who appears to act as if he holds the same power as the president. He expressed disappointment in Nigeria's weakened democratic institutions and questioned how the situation had become so dire.

He further criticized President Tinubu for not reining Wike's behavior, implying that the President may be permitting his actions due to political support or financial backing.

Finally, he questioned whether being referred to as "Mr. Project" justifies his (Wike) self-important conduct.

Dele Momodu said this in a post he shared on his official Instagram page.

He said, "Power drunkenness, a 56 years old man insulting a 70 years old woman, a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria telling her to go and hug a transformer and die on a national television, and the National Assembly has not called the bluff off this man who acts like Nigeria now has two presidents. What a shame on all our democratic institutions. When did Nigeria descend this low? How many votes and how much money did this Wike man give Tinubu that he is allowing him to go rampage, in Rivers, FCT and some other parts of Nigeria. If you are being praised as Mr Project, is that enough reason to turn yourself to God?"
