APC is the most organized political party in Nigeria: Bala says while praising Tinubu
Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, has asserted that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is the only truly organized political party in Nigeria. In an exclusive interview with TVC News, Bwala criticized opposition parties, stating that they are struggling with a lack of direction and have failed to organize themselves effectively.
He pointed out that most opposition parties in Nigeria are in disarray, unable to present any serious political challenge to the APC. He emphasized that the APC's strength lies in its well-structured leadership and organization, which positions it as the dominant force in Nigerian politics. "The political opponents have no direction, and there is no organized political party in Nigeria other than the APC," Bwala said, adding that the opposition is still trying to find their way.
Discussing President Tinubu’s approach to political conflicts, Bwala highlighted that the President favors reconciliation over confrontation. He noted that throughout the past 18 months in office, the President has refrained from engaging in combative or aggressive responses. “The President has never reacted once to anybody,” he said. Bwala also pointed out that the President’s approach to governance is inclusive, with many of those working alongside him having once been his political adversaries, himself included. “Virtually 97 percent of those who are with him now have worked against him in the past,” he explained, emphasizing the President's belief in reconciliation and unity.
In conclusion, Bwala remarked that President Tinubu does not subscribe to the idea of political infighting, advocating instead for harmony and cooperation.
