An error in the membership of the Electoral Reform Committee was addressed in a statement released by the Labour Party.
That Mike Igini's name was erroneously included as a committee member was clarified on the official X page of the Labour Party. Because of this, his name is no longer on the list, and the party will announce his successor at the next inauguration of the committee.
Mike Igini is a very respected man in Nigeria, and the party has apologised to him for the mistake.
The Labour Party hopes to restore trust in the committee's membership and clarify matters by fixing this lapse and saying sorry for the misunderstanding.

At one point, the committee's membership was incorrectly listed as including Mike Igini. Nevertheless, his name has been removed and the committee's new chairman will be introduced during the upcoming induction ceremony. Apologies have been extended to this highly esteemed Nigerian for the confusion that occurred.
