The Blues could be getting £50m in transfer fee for their 24-year-old star who is already in the last year of his contract.

The Blues have put themselves in a difficult position concerning the future of their English midfielder Conor Gallagher. Gallagher has enter the last 1w months of his contract at the club and that has made him a target for some big clubs across Europe.

It also puts Chelsea in an uncomfortable position where they would likely be forced to part ways with the midfielder this summer or risk losing him for free next summer.

As a matter of fact, the star is already wanted by top La Liga side Atlético Madrid.

However, signing Gallagher won't be that easy for any club given that Chelsea has stamped a high transfer fee of £50m on the Englishman.

Atletico Madrid are very much interested in signing Gallagher this summer as revealed by talkSPORT in a report that also claimed that the Spanish giants are desperate to bolster their numbers with five players leaving this summer already, four of which were free transfers.

Selling Gallagher puts the Blues in a profitable position as they paid no money to acquire his service, given that he was an academy graduate. Also selling him would be a major boost to the club's plans of adhering to PSR rules as he would represent a 'pure profit' sale.

However, the 24-year-old has been a key player at Stamford Bridge and would be seriously missed should he seal a move away from the West London side this summer.
