In his own words, ''The population in Rivers State today is over 10 million and I'm pleased to inform you that the present governor has the majority of Rivers State. Fubara has 99% of the people's support in the 4 LG areas in Ikwerre. When 99% is with you, you are having the whole control because the law provides that 99% of possession means ownership. So today, he's controlling all the local government in the state. I have not seen any ethnic group that is saying no to his governance.''
