Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker, underscored the crucial impact of Nigeria's battle for democracy, noting that this struggle has enabled leaders like Nyesom Wike to attain high-ranking positions. He emphasized the persistent efforts to liberate Nigeria from military rule, declaring that these efforts are unstoppable and have driven the nation's democratic progress.

Shehu Sani commended the combined endeavors that have propelled Nigeria's journey towards democracy. He highlighted that Wike, the current FCT Minister, has significantly profited from these democratic advancements, having served in influential capacities such as local government chairman, governor, and now minister.

During an interview on Channels TV, Sani observed Wike's tactical handling of public speaking, mentioning instances where Wike deliberately spoke last at events to prevent immediate rebuttals. Sani indicated his readiness to respond to Wike whenever the chance presents itself.

Sani strongly asserted that the achievements of the struggle to free Nigeria from military rule cannot be underestimated. He highlighted that individuals like Wike, who currently hold important positions as local government chairmen, governors, or ministers, owe their roles to the unwavering fight for democracy.

Sani stated that Wike gains from the effort, commitment, and sacrifices of those who struggled for Nigeria's democratic freedom. He emphasized the significance of acknowledging these contributions and their influence on the nation's political environment.

Hear him: "I have attended two events where he (Wike) strategically placed himself to speak last and made sure nobody replies to him. And I'm confident that I will seize the opportunity when it presents itself. However, our fight to liberate Nigeria from military rule is an accomplishment that no one can diminish. Wike and those like him would not be serving as LG Chairmen, governors, or ministers today if it weren't for our fight for democracy. He benefits from our hard work, dedication, and everything that we have put into it."
