Blogger Nyakundi has alleged that the police are taking various measures to prevent the youths from gathering. According to Nyakundi, youths are not allowed to sit anywhere in these patrolled areas as part of the government's efforts to deter any form of assembly. This increased police activity and protests reflects the heightened tension in the country.

The country is currently in a tense mood as protests continue to occur in various areas across the nation. Kenyans are expressing their discontent with rising taxes and perceived bad governance.

Despite the widespread unrest, President Ruto has maintained that Kenyans should be prepared for more taxes, emphasizing the need for revenue to support national development.

The situation remains volatile, with the government's heavy-handed approach to the demonstrations drawing both domestic and international scrutiny.
