According to Metro, Jose Mourinho, the legendary former manager of Chelsea, has disclosed why he no longer attends games at Stamford Bridge despite living just "two minutes" away from the stadium.

Mourinho, who enjoyed two successful spells at Chelsea, including securing multiple Premier League titles and domestic cups, revealed his decision in light of recent developments at the club.

Amid speculation of a potential third spell in charge of Chelsea and mounting pressure on current manager Mauricio Pochettino, Mourinho addressed the situation, particularly after Chelsea fans chanted his name following a disappointing draw against Brentford in March.

"I've always kept myself apart from any unethical behaviour," Mourinho stated in an interview with Portuguese outlet A Bola.

"In London, I live two minutes from Chelsea's stadium, from my house you can hear the goals and people's demonstrations.

The day the stadium started singing my name, I stopped going to football. I have to go to other stadiums."

Mourinho expressed his frustration with the persistent questions about his potential return to Chelsea, stating that such inquiries have disrupted his personal life.

He highlighted his reluctance to attend games at Stamford Bridge due to the attention drawn by supporters and media regarding his possible managerial comeback.

Meanwhile, former Chelsea player William Gallas cautioned against Mourinho's potential return, citing concerns about the current squad's suitability to work with the Portuguese manager.

Gallas emphasized the need for "warriors" and players willing to fight and make sacrifices, qualities he believes are lacking in some members of the Chelsea team.

"With Jose, you have to give him the right players," Gallas remarked.

"You have to give him warriors and the right players who want to fight and who want to make sacrifices and aren't scared to suffer."

Gallas suggested that Mourinho's demanding coaching style requires players who are willing to compete fiercely for their positions in training, a characteristic he believes is lacking in certain individuals within the Chelsea squad.
