On 2nd July, 2024 the former Nigerian Senator representing Bauchi State North Senatorial District and also the current Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir paid a condolence visit to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima to commiserate with him over the death of his mother in law, Late Maryam Albishir at his residence in Abuja, Nigeria.
According to a post made by the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir Via his official Facebook account, he along with some of the senior staff of the Bauchi State Government and members House of Representatives from the Bauchi paid a condolence visit to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima to commiserate with him over the death of his mother in law at his residence in Abuja, Nigeria.
During his speech, the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir prayed that may Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the Late Maryam Albishir and grant her Aljanna Firdaus.
