Salah is set to work under new head coach Arne Slot this summer. Slot will lead pre-season training later this month, with Liverpool scheduled for friendly matches in the United States against Real Betis, Arsenal, and Manchester United.
In a recent Instagram post, Salah shared a video of himself on a treadmill, accompanied by a bicep emoji. However, it is still uncertain when he will return to the AXA Training Centre for pre-season preparations. Egypt had hoped to include Salah in their squad for the Olympic Games in Paris this summer, which would have delayed his return to Merseyside.
Despite this, Salah is expected to be available for Liverpool’s pre-season training starting later this month. Following their US tour, Liverpool will wrap up their pre-season with a friendly against Sevilla at Anfield before their Premier League opener against Ipswich Town on August 17.
