In a humorous post, Nigerian senator, author, playwright, and human rights activist Shehu Sani has sparked an engaging online conversation about the physical fitness of senators. Taking to his official X handle, formerly known as Twitter, Sani shared his observations inspired by a recent display of athleticism by Kenyan senators.
Sani's tweet read: "When I watched the Kenyan Senators running, I know that Saraki is physically fitted to run but I’m not sure of Senators Lawan and Akpabio. Dino can jump and climb tree but Ben Bruce can only do Catwalk."
Sani humorously noted that former Senate President Bukola Saraki would be fit enough to run, while expressing doubts about Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Senator Godswill Akpabio's athletic prowess. He further joked about former Senator Dino Melaye's ability to jump and climb trees, contrasting it with Senator Ben Murray-Bruce's penchant for "catwalking."
