According to DAILY POST reports, Emmanuel Adebisi, the Special Assistant on Civil Society Organisations to the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has come out to categorically deny allegations of his suspension and involvement in the diversion of relief materials.

The controversy erupted on Wednesday when the governor's spokesman, Olawale Rasheed, announced that Adebisi had been suspended by the governor pending the outcome of an investigation by the Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye.

The statement cited Adebisi's alleged involvement in the diversion of 70 bags of rice meant for distribution to members of civil society groups during the recent Eid-el-Kabir festival.

However, in a personal statement posted on his Facebook page, Adebisi strongly refuted the allegations, describing them as "misleading and untrue."

"I continue to serve diligently in my capacity as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Osun State, with unwavering commitment to my responsibilities," Adebisi wrote.

Adebisi challenged anyone with factual evidence of his involvement in the alleged rice diversion to come forward, calling the accusations the "handiwork of some bitter political fools."

The embattled aide asserted that he remains an integral part of the Osun State government team and is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and service.

He urged the media and the public to disregard the "misinformation being circulated" and refrain from spreading unsubstantiated claims that could tarnish the reputation of dedicated public servants.
