Protesters Storm PDP Headquarters Ahead Of Thursday's NEC Meeting

Protesters stormed the national headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja on Wednesday, expressing their solidarity with the Acting National Chairman of the Party, Umar Damagun, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

Carrying placards adorned with various inscriptions, the demonstrators accused some individuals within the PDP of attempting to sow discord within the party’s leadership ranks.

The protest was held just an hour before the PDP governors’ forum meeting and a day before the anticipated gathering of the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC).

Adeleke Signs Bill For Osun's New Logo

The Osun State Governor, Mr Ademola Adeleke, has assented to a bill adopting a new logo for the state, describing the new symbol as a signal of new rebirth for Osun.

A statement by the spokesperson to the governor, Olawale Rasheed, obtained in Osogbo on Wednesday, said the ceremony where the bill was signed was witnessed by the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun.

Giving details of a the new logo, Rasheed explained that “The Circle- The circle replacing the shield symbolised perfection and wholeness. Y – Though not depicted through the placement of the water, earth, and mountains, in the circle. It represents the three Senatorial districts in Osun State united as one hence the lack of delineation between all three elements.


Ganduje: Kano Court Order Unenforceable, Says APC

The National Working Committee NWC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has reacted to the order of a Kano State High Court which affirmed the suspension of its National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, describing it as a nullity.

The development came on Wednesday as Ganduje received the APC Ward Executives from his Ganduje Ward in Kano State, who were at the national secretariat of the party to affirm their confidence in him.

Addressing the ward executives, Ganduje said those who purportedly suspended him were impostors.


Mohnad's Family Has Right To Demand DNA Test- Yomi Fabiyi

During an interview with TVC, Fabiyi emphasised that Mohbad’s family has the right to ask for a DNA test.

He explained how Mohbad’s father bears the weight of anguish and seeks resolution, underscoring the importance of conducting a DNA test.
