opera.com 2 days ago

During the Kenya on the Brink media roundtable President William Ruto addressed various issues affecting the country. Following the event, renowned journalist Mashirima Kapombe of Citizen TV posed a question to Kenyans on X (formerly Twitter): "Have the president's responses convinced you he is the person who will fix this country?" She also created a poll for users to express their opinions.

The poll results showed a significant lack of confidence in President Ruto's ability to address the country's challenges. Out of all the respondents 90 percent voted No indicating they were not convinced by the president's responses.

Only 10 percent of the participants voted yes showing support for the president's capacity to fix the country's issues.

This overwhelming response highlights the widespread skepticism among Kenyans regarding the president's plans and strategies for the nation's future.

The poll results suggest that a majority of citizens remain doubtful about the effectiveness of President Ruto's leadership in resolving the pressing problems facing Kenya.
