In a recent YouTube video, Prophet Joshua Iginla, founder and senior pastor of Champions Royal Assembly, issued a strong condemnation of brothers in the church who fail to propose to sisters of value.
Iginla's message highlighted the detrimental impact of familiarity on valuing virtuous sisters within the church community.
"Some of you brothers are in the church, but familiarity has not made you value sisters with virtuous character," Iginla stated. He emphasized that many brothers fail to appreciate the true worth of the sisters they see regularly, mistaking superficial familiarity for genuine understanding.
"Familiarity makes you think you know their content when you only know the container," he added, pointing out that this mindset prevents brothers from recognizing the true qualities of these sisters.
Iginla criticized the tendency of some brothers to seek partners outside the church, bringing these women into the church to assert their superiority.
"Many brothers are in the church and cannot propose to sisters of value. We now leave the church and go outside to marry, bringing women into the church just to prove a point that we are better than and bigger than all the sisters in the church," he observed.
Challenging the misconception about village girls, Iginla noted, "You think village girls are actually village girls, but they are more open-minded than city girls."
He highlighted the irony of such situations, where brothers who marry outsiders often find themselves dealing with unexpected challenges. "Now you have brought Muna into the house, and Muna is telling you she is international. The church is quiet."
Iginla further expressed frustration with brothers who linger around sisters without taking decisive action. "Some of you brothers in the church cannot propose. It’s not that you are going out, you just cannot propose," he lamented.
He mocked the empty compliments and small requests that some brothers use to avoid making a commitment. "You just come around sisters and say nothing. You say, 'Wow, it was great, deep, deep rhema, deep, deep,' while the sister is boiling. She's tired of you asking her for a spoon, lipstick, and a shoe. Just propose!"
In his closing remarks, Iginla issued a powerful command to the brothers, urging them to take action. "All the brothers, I command every anointing to loose your tongue. Loose your tongue and propose. Marry!"
