Netanyahu Sends Message to Hamas Following Emaciated Hostages' Release, Described Them as Monsters
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark condemnation of Hamas in response to the release of three hostages who had endured harrowing conditions during their captivity.
Or Levy, Eli Sharabi, and Ohad Ben Ami were freed through a hostage-ceasefire deal, but their return was overshadowed by the disturbing revelations about their treatment. The Israeli Health Ministry noted that they had "been through hell," highlighting the physical and psychological toll inflicted upon them.
In a video statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Netanyahu expressed his relief at their safe return and sent heartfelt embraces to the families involved.
“Sarah and I embrace them and their dear families,” he stated while focusing on the broader implications of Hamas’s actions.
Labeling Hamas as “monsters,” Netanyahu condemned their brutal tactics against both civilians and hostages alike. He emphasized that these are "the same monsters who massacred our citizens and abused our hostages," further asserting: “And I say to them again: their blood is on their heads.”
