According to a recent update from the verified Twitter account of Israel War Room, significant progress has been made in targeting key Hamas facilities and operatives.
In the Rafah area, IDF troops have been conducting targeted, intelligence-based operations. Over the past day, these operations have led to the dismantling of numerous terror tunnel shafts and the elimination of multiple Hamas terrorists. During one such operation, IDF troops encountered three terrorists who opened fire. The troops quickly coordinated with the IAF, which successfully neutralized the terror cell operating near a tunnel shaft.
Simultaneously, IDF troops have been actively engaged in operational activities in Gaza City. In collaboration with the IAF, several terrorists have been eliminated, further crippling Hamas' operational capabilities.
One notable success in these operations was the IAF's strike on a paraglider storage facility used by Hamas' Aerial Defense Unit in Rafah. This facility had been employed by Hamas terrorists during the October 7th massacre, underscoring its strategic importance. The IAF's targeted strike on this location aims to prevent similar attacks in the future.
