Former presidential aide Reno Omokri shared a thought-provoking Facebook post on Saturday, July 13, 2024, offering insights into financial wisdom inspired by the Fulani people.

Omokri, known for his motivational posts, emphasized the importance of investment and financial prudence using the Fulani's approach to cattle rearing as an analogy.

Omokri wrote, "One reason the Fulani always have cows is because they hardly eat their cattle. Instead, they drink the milk and eat their cows' other dairy byproducts. As a result, they always have cattle for sale. Learn from them, and you will never be broke."

The post underlines a critical financial principle: preserving capital while enjoying the benefits it generates.

Omokri likened money to cattle, suggesting that instead of depleting one's capital through spending, individuals should focus on investments.

"Your money is your cow. Don't eat it by spending it. Instead, invest it, and then spend some of the dividends of your investment, but leave your capital to keep expanding," he advised.

Drawing from the Fulani's sustainable practice, Omokri illustrated that consuming only the 'dividends' of one's investments, akin to consuming dairy products rather than the cattle themselves, ensures a steady and growing source of wealth.

"Your dividend is your milk and dairy byproducts. Your capital is your cattle. Understand this, and you will understand the fundamentals of wealth," he concluded.
