The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi has reacted after seeing the number of people in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Economic Coordination Council.
The photo was shared on the official X handle of Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy.
After Onanuga shared the picture on his page, he wrote;
"President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President, Kashim Shettima and President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio at the inauguration of members of the Presidential Economic Coordination Council. With President Tinubu in the photo are; Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Kola Adesina, Wale Tinubu".
Reacting to the report, Sam Amadi said the council is too large. He said an economic council has to be a few trusted advisors not governors and business actors.

"A council to coordinate is this large? What is coordination? Is it transaction? A unit in the presidency staffed by a few people who know is enough. An economic council has to be a few trusted advisors not governors and business actors".
