Some few hours ago, reports emerged on a major appointment that president William Ruto has made on his government today in the morning.
According to one source, the head of state has appointed Hon Emmanuel Nzai as the new chairperson of Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Board. His appointment was announced on a gazette notice which dated 06/07/2024. Nzai is going to take over from Caroline Kariuki who has been the chairperson since 2022.
"Nzai's appointment, effective from July 5, was announced in a gazette notice on Friday, July 6, and marks the end of Caroline Kariuki's tenure, which began in July 2022. Nzai, a seasoned Public Policy expert and the founding CEO of Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani (JKP), is no stranger to economic development." Says a report.
Nzai served as the deputy presidential candidate of Thirdway alliance back in the year 2017 but they lost to Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto who is now the president of this country.
