Real Madrid star forward set to leave club

Spanish and European Champions Real Madrid have received some news concerning the future of one of their stars. The player in question is Joselu and latest reports say he has decided that he will not be continuing at the club.

Joselu is set to exit Real Madrid soon after a successful loan spell at the club from Espanyol in the 2023/2024 season where he registered 18 goals despite having limited appearances. He was particularly vital in Los Blancos recent UEFA Champions League triumph. Real Madrid have an option to sign Joselu permanently but the star is considering his future as he is likely to get little playing time if he stays.

According to reports from Media outlet COPE, Joselu has opted to leave Real Madrid ahead of next season. The club will not be exercising the permanent purchase option they have for the 34 year old forward. Joselu is said to be close to sealing a move to Qatari club Al Gharafa.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Joselu as he is set to begin a new chapter in his career away from Real Madrid.
