In a sermon titled "The Disease Called Bewitchment," Dr. Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM), issued a stern warning about the pervasive and insidious nature of bewitchment.
During his Manna Water Service, Dr. Olukoya highlighted the dangers of this spiritual affliction and emphasized the necessity of seeking healing through fervent prayer and faith in Jesus Christ.
Dr. Olukoya explained that bewitchment is a form of spiritual sickness that can affect anyone, regardless of age, family background, academic qualifications, or skin color. "It has no respect for your age, family, degrees, whether your father is a pastor or a priest, or your skin color," he stated, underscoring the universal vulnerability to this malevolent force.
Bewitchment, according to Dr. Olukoya, involves the spiritual manipulation of individuals through witchcraft, often manifesting as a curse or spell cast to harm someone's destiny.
He described it as a "terrible thing" that can wreak havoc on a person's life and urged his congregation to be vigilant and proactive in seeking divine intervention.
"It is necessary to seek healing from the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, by praying fervently against all forms of bewitchment," Dr. Olukoya emphasized. He called on believers to intensify their prayers, asking for protection and deliverance from any spiritual forces attempting to derail their lives.
Dr. Olukoya concluded his sermon with a powerful prayer: "I pray for you that any power that wants to bewitch you to injure your destiny shall die violently in the name of Jesus."
