In a candid interview on Arise TV, a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and an Elder Statesman, Chief Bode George reinforces the idea that Nigeria's political system is still in a nascent stage, characterized by fluidity and adaptability, where political loyalties are not necessarily fixed or permanent.

He suggests that the practice of appointing individuals from opposing parties to serve in a ruling administration does not necessarily imply a change in allegiance, but rather a willingness to work together for the greater good.

He provides the example of Wike, who despite serving in an APC administration, still "plays the music" of his own party, indicating that he has not abandoned his political convictions.

He said, "He said, "We are still in the embryonic stage of political activities in this country. We can't just have a wall and say once you are a member of this, you can not serve there. The fact that you are serving there doesn't mean you have left your party. According to Wike, he wrote a letter to get approval to serve the APC government, he still plays the music."
