According to Sahara Reporters, the President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has said that no one will recognize the country anymore by the time President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is done with the remaining seven years of his rule.

Akpabio, who stated this on Tuesday, implored Nigerians not to worry about the prevailing challenges confronting the nation but pray for the success of the Tinubu administration, insisting that it would pay off in the next seven years.

The former Governor of Akwa Ibom State spoke during the flag-off of the Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja.

He said at the occasion:

“I have no doubt that by the time the President is through with his tenure in the country, seven years from today, many people will not recognize FCT, they will not recognize Nigeria again.

“He did it in Lagos and today, Lagos is one of the best; one of the largest economies in Africa when we are talking about cities.”

Speaking about the project itself, Akpabio described it as, “another major wonder of President Tinubu’s administration.

The former Minister of the Niger Delta also eulogized the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, describing “square peg in a square hole,” and again extolling the President's ability to accurately spot those who can perform.
