A member of a dreaded cult group who was found with a Beretta pistol in his house during his arrest by operatives of the Delta State Police Command has told the policemen that he is the third in command of the Eiye Confraternity in the Sapele area of the state, the command announced on Friday, April 26, 2024.
The state police command, which announced the arrest on its X handle, gave the name of the cultist as Daniel Okete, aged 32 years, saying he was arrested by the police operatives who stormed the Ogorode area of Sapele Town following intelligence reports gathered about his deadly activities.

According to the command, when the operatives stormed his house, a Beretta pistol he kept in the house was said to have been recovered while he was promptly arrested and he is currently in detention.
It was also gathered that during his interrogation, he was said to have told the police operatives that he bought the pistol from one Goodluck Sokutu, who is also in custody, while he was also said to have disclosed that he is the third in command of Eiye Confraternity in Sapele Town.
The command added that he had given more useful information to the police operatives, while he will be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation into his deadly activities in the town.
