Former Senator Shehu Sani reflected on President Buhari's term, noting that despite Buhari's pledge to lead from the front in his speech at Chatham House, Nigeria has faced challenges such as terrorism, banditry, and secessionist movements during his tenure.

Sani suggested that the current state of affairs reflects past neglect or mishandling.

He emphasized that the consequences of previous mistakes are now apparent, indicating that the country is facing the repercussions of those errors.

Sani went further talking about the insecurity situation in the nation Nigeria today.

When Senator Shehu Sani was speaking in an interview with The Sun, he said, "I can remember President Buhari was in Chatham House before he became president, where he said he was going to lead from the front. Buhari met a country on the grips of terrorism, by the time he left; it was on the grips of terrorism and banditry and secessionists agitation."
