A former commissioner in Rivers State, Ibibia Walter, has warned the PDP regarding the political situation in Rivers State. Ibibia issued his statement on Channels TV in Okrika when supporters of Governor Fubara stormed the area for a solidarity rally.
Addressing the topic, Ibibia said, "The PDP at the national level should be very careful about Rivers State. It is not about Sim Fubara, but about the governor of Rivers State. Rivers State is pivotal to the nation's economy, and you do not toy with the state."
Also speaking at the event, former Nigerian minister Abiye Sekibo said, "Be rest assured that wherever there is a movement in support of our governor, not only will I be there, but the entire leadership of Atiku's presidential campaign team in Rivers State will also be present there."
