Nname Ewor, the leader of the PDP in Rivers West Senatorial District and a supporter of the Pro Fubara Group, claimed that the Pro Fubara lawmakers have two appealing options following the Court of Appeal's judgment.
He emphasized that the first option is to appeal the judgment at the Supreme Court, a step the House of Assembly has already directed its legal team to take.
He further explained that the second option stems from the statements made by the Court of Appeal judges.
He talke about how the Court of Appeal recognized the defection of certain individuals without delving into the substance of the issue.
In Nname Ewor's words in a video (4:28), he said, "The Rivers State government and the Rivers State house of Assembly is not deterred by that judgement. Because we have two options that excites us after the appeal Court Judgment. And one of the option is to appeal that judgement at the Supreme Court which the House of Assembly has already directed the legal team to do."
