Mount delivers strong Man United message with three-word promise after silence

According to Manchester Evening News, Mason Mount has succinctly expressed his readiness for Manchester United as he enters his second season at the club.

The 25-year-old midfielder, who was limited to just 20 appearances last season due to injuries, is now preparing to play a more significant role under Erik ten Hag.

Mount faced considerable time on the sidelines during his debut year at Old Trafford following his high-profile transfer from Chelsea last summer. His absence was keenly felt by Ten Hag, who had envisioned Mount as a pivotal figure in his midfield plans, integral to a dynamic, pressing style of play.

Struggling with fitness issues carried over from his final season at Stamford Bridge, Mount managed to start only eight games across all competitions and scored his first – and to date, only – goal for the club in late March.

Although he made a brief return to the team around Easter, Mount missed the final three league fixtures but did make a late substitute appearance in the FA Cup final.
