Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, took to Twitter to condemn the actions of the Zionist regime in Gaza, specifically referencing the treatment of women and children. Khamenei questioned the power of the Zionist regime to act so brutally in such a limited space without the support of the United States. He asserted that being friendly with this enemy is impossible and that both the perpetrator of the violence and those who support it are oppressors.

In his words, he said;"Without US support, would the Zionist regime have the power to treat Gazan women & children so brutally in that limited space? Being friendly with this enemy is impossible. The murderer & supporter of murder are both oppressors. "The curse of Allah is upon the oppressors" (11.18)"

The tweet sparked outrage and debate among social media users, with many echoing Khamenei's sentiments and condemning the violence in Gaza. Others criticized Khamenei for his stance on the issue, citing Iran's own human rights violations and support for violent extremist groups.
