In a sermon titled "Enjoying All-round Victory - Part 2" during the Enjoying All-Round Victory Service at Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries International, made a striking declaration.

He stated unequivocally that nothing would compel him to become the President, not even a daily offer of one million dollars.

"Many of us are never serious with life. I've come to notice that nobody at the top is neutral," Pastor Ibiyeomie began, emphasizing the intense spiritual battles faced by those in positions of power.

He pointed out that many individuals in high positions engage in occult practices, contrasting this with the lack of spiritual preparation he observes among many Christians.

"These people you are seeing, they don't operate normally," he continued, highlighting the extreme measures some take to achieve and maintain power, including occult practices and even murder. He urged his congregation to be spiritually vigilant, underscoring the necessity of prayer and fasting in combating these forces.

Pastor Ibiyeomie illustrated his point with vivid examples, describing how those involved in occult practices use charms and spiritual manipulations to gain an edge. He warned against underestimating the spiritual warfare involved in such high-stakes arenas.

Reflecting on the idea of running for political office, Pastor Ibiyeomie dismissed it outright. "Nothing will make me be the President even if you give me one million dollars per day. I won't be the President; that's not my area," he declared. He stressed that his calling lies elsewhere and that he has no desire to enter the political fray.

Pastor Ibiyeomie emphasized the spiritual strength he would bring to any competition. He suggested that through intense prayer, he could influence even his opponents' decisions, yet reaffirmed his decision never to pursue a political career.
