Dele Farotimi Reacts After An Obidient Said He Began Protesting At Age 20 And Has Done It For 36yrs

Lawyer and human rights activist, Dele Farotimi has reacted after an Obidient said he started protesting at the age of 20 years and he has done it for 36 years.

The Peter Obi's supporter stated that he was on the streets during the 1988 oil subsidy protests and was also on the streets during the Anti-SAP protests in 1989. He said he joined the June 12 protests and was also on the streets during the #EndSars protests.

He wrote on his page;

"I was in the streets in the 1988 oil subsidy protests. I was in the streets in the 1989 Anti-SAP protests. I was in the streets during the June 12 protests, which led to my arrest by officers of the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) and detention. I was in the streets during the 5 million man march against Abacha. I was in the streets during #EndSars protests in 2020. In my protest life, which began at age 20, and spanning 36 years, I've never collected money from anybody to do what I do or ever did".

Reacting to the post, Dele Farotimi appreciated him for all he has done.

"There remains a remnant in the land, and you my brother, are the chief of them. Thank you for your service".
